1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE
1.1. This procedure explains how notifications of unlawfulness regarding listings and user content on the Platform, intellectual and industrial property infringement applications, counter-notifications and service complaints are received, evaluated and concluded.
1.2. This page is an information and procedure text; it does not replace the Terms of Use, the Seller Agreement and the Privacy Policy. The contractual consequences of content removal decisions are subject to Clauses 10 and 13 of the Terms of Use and Clauses 8, 9 and 11 of the Seller Agreement.
1.3. The Platform, as a hosting provider, does not as a rule review content in advance in general. This procedure applies upon notification and in risk-based audits.
2. APPLICATION CHANNELS
2.1. You can make your applications through: (a) the in-app "report/complain" function; (b) e-mail to support@merilinapp.com writing "Content Notification" in the subject line; (c) for intellectual property applications also to the same address writing "Intellectual Property Application" in the subject line; (d) the support page on https://merilinapp.com. The subject-line wording is only for fast routing to the right team; different wording does not invalidate the application.
2.2. Requests under the KVKK are not subject to this procedure; they are made via kvkk@merilinapp.com under the procedure in Clause 14 of the Privacy Policy. If a message contains both a complaint and a KVKK request, the KVKK part is separated and processed under that procedure.
2.3. Information to include in your application: name-surname or trade name, contact e-mail, the link to the complained content or listing/shop information, what right or rule you think has been infringed, and your request. Missing information may be requested for completion; incompleteness is not a ground for automatic rejection of the application.
3. UNLAWFUL CONTENT NOTIFICATIONS
3.1. Anyone may notify via the Clause 2 channels that content on the Platform is unlawful (misleading price, expired product, prohibited product, rights infringement, personal data infringement etc.).
3.2. When your notification is received, a confirmation is sent to you. The notification is taken into examination without delay (as a rule within 48 hours). If the infringement is clear, the content is removed or its access is blocked; if the risk is high while evaluation continues, the content may be temporarily taken down and this situation is notified to the content owner with its reason.
3.3. In claims of infringement of personality rights or privacy of private life, the procedure in Law No. 5651 and competent authority decisions are reserved; when a court or competent authority decision reaches us, it is implemented without delay.
3.4. The notification outcome is, as a rule, notified to the applicant and the content owner with its reason.
4. INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY APPLICATIONS
4.1. If you think your trademark, copyright, design or other intellectual/industrial right has been infringed by a listing or content, you can apply via the Clause 2.1(c) channel. The application includes: information showing your rights ownership (such as registration number, work information), the link to the allegedly infringing content, and an explanation of the infringement.
4.2. Your application is examined without delay and as a rule within 48 hours. Content whose infringement is clear is removed; the situation is notified to the applicant and the content owner with its reason.
4.3. Counter-notification: the Seller or user whose content is removed may explain with documents that the right belongs to them or that the use is authorised. If the explanation is clearly justified from the information and documents provided, the content is as a rule republished within 24 hours and the applicant is informed.
4.4. If rights ownership is disputed and cannot be clearly understood from the documents, the parties are directed to the judicial route; the competent authority decision is implemented. The Platform is not an arbitrator in rights ownership disputes.
4.5. Bad-faith, unfounded or repeated unjustified applications may be rejected; this situation is notified to the applicant with its reason. Repeated unfounded applications may be a basis for account restriction.
5. SERVICE COMPLAINTS AND OTHER APPLICATIONS
5.1. Buyer complaints: your complaint about a listing or shop is conveyed to the Seller with its reason; the Seller replies as a rule within 3 business days under Clause 8.3 of the Seller Agreement. Complaints about the Platform's own service are concluded as a rule within 15 days.
5.2. In applications you make as a consumer, your rights to apply to consumer arbitration boards and the Consumer Information System (TÜBİS) are always reserved and are not conditional on using this procedure.
5.3. Seller applications and objections are subject to the Internal Communication System and periods in Clause 8 of the Seller Agreement.
6. EVALUATION, PERIODS AND NOTIFICATION
6.1. Applications are evaluated in order of arrival, but with priority given to urgency (expired food, safety, court decision etc.).
6.2. The 48 hours in Clauses 3.2 and 4.2 and the 24 hours in Clause 4.3 are the rule; if the complexity of the application or document completion is required, the period may be extended with its reason and this is notified to you.
6.3. Decisions are reasoned and recorded. You may object to the decision through the same channels; objections are concluded as a rule within 15 days.
7. RECORDS AND PERSONAL DATA
7.1. Application, examination and decision records are kept for the dispute and proof needs and statutory periods, for the periods in Clause 11 of the Privacy Policy.
7.2. Personal data you provide during the application is processed only for evaluating and concluding your application and for the record purposes in Clause 7.1; the legal grounds and your rights are in Clauses 6 and 14 of the Privacy Policy.
8. CHANGES
8.1. This procedure is updated in case of legislative or service changes; the current version is published on this page. Material procedure changes are announced to Sellers by registered e-mail (and additionally via the Internal Communication System once it is launched) and by in-app announcement.
8.2. This version enters into force on October 20, 2026. The original of the text is Turkish; translations are for convenience and in case of conflict the Turkish text prevails.
